[ARCHIVED] Spring Fling to be Held on March 9

The City of Ocoee will host its 14th Annual Spring Fling on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Bill Breeze Park, 125 North Lakeshore Drive.

Spring Fling is a free event with fun activities, games and live demonstrations all aimed at reinforcing safe behavior by youth and families. The event also showcases community services available throughout the area.

The city’s Utilities Department will sponsor a tree giveaway and rain barrel workshop for Ocoee residents.  There will be 20 varieties of trees, shrubs, grasses and ground cover available including Bald Cypress, Crape Myrtle, Sweet Viburnum, Muhly Grass and African Iris.  Proof of residency (water bill or driver’s license) is required. Residents must pre-register for the rain barrel workshop by calling the Utilities Department at 407-905-3159 by Thursday, March 7.  Space is limited.
