Bring a lawn chair and blanket, sit back, relax and enjoy Ocoee’s Food Truck Friday and Movie in the Park.

Held the third Friday of each month at Bill Breeze Park, 125 North Lakeshore Drive, the October 16 event includes the following: food trucks from 6:00 p.m.– 9:00 p.m.; free tours of the historic Withers-Maguire House, 16 East Oakland Avenue, from 6:00 p.m.– 8:00 p.m.; and a movie starting at 8:00 p.m.

The movie this month will be the classic supernatural “Ghostbusters”, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. There will also be entertainment before the movie including a costume contest, games and other activities. DJ Tod will be playing Halloween favorites.

Several food trucks will offer gourmet treats including tamales, cheese steaks, seafood, lobster rolls, barbeque pulled pork, crepes, burgers and more.

The Friends of Ocoee History Preservation will give the tours of the Withers-Maguire House. Built in 1888, the house is of a Gothic Stick style with Florida heart pine wood floors throughout the interior of the home which is encompassed by a wrap-around porch.
