Come learn and experience the training police officers and firefighters go through while learning about your Ocoee Police and Fire Department. Attendees are expected to participate in this weekly class, which runs through June 20, 2019.

The Ocoee Police Department and Ocoee Fire Department are proud to announce its 6th Citizen’s Public Safety Academy. This course will be held every Thursday evening for ten straight weeks at both the police department and at the main fire station. The academy is taught by City of Ocoee Police Officers, Firefighters and industry experts. The academy is funded by donations, is free to residents, and participants will be eligible for one ride along with an officer on patrol. There will also be a graduation banquet that will take place upon completion of the academy.

DATE AND TIME: Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 5:30 PM – 8 PM

LOCATION: Alternates between the Ocoee Police Department, located at
646 Ocoee Commerce Parkway Ocoee FL 34761 and the Ocoee Fire Department, located at 563 S. Bluford Avenue Ocoee, FL 34761

To be eligible, you must
Be 18 years of age or older
Have no criminal record
Must sign a release agreement
Preference will be given to Ocoee residents
Class size is limited
