More than 30,000 people currently call Ocoee home, with an additional 400-500 new homes being added every year. Ocoee is also home to a new mall, a state-of-the-art-hospital, and several other large employers who have taken advantage of Ocoee's unique location at the crossroads of Florida's Turnpike, State Road 50, the East-West Expressway, and the new Western Beltway.

There are several golf courses in the area and the nationally-recognized West Orange Trail provides more than 14 miles of trail for bicyclists, rollerbladers, runners, and others to enjoy.
