ABOUT US
The Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing quality parks and recreation services through its recreational facilities and programs. Its mission is to ensure the provision of a high quality system of public parks and recreational facilities and planned leisure activities to meet the needs of the citizens of Ocoee. The Parks and Recreation Department is directed by Jeffrey Hayes, who may be reached at 407-877-5803 or via e-mail at JHayes@ci.ocoee.fl.us.

Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Parks

The Parks and Recreation Department operates and maintains twelve parks throughout the city with some of the following amenities: picnic tables and grill, playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, softball fields, football fields, soccer fields, pavilions and swimming pool. Recreation Centers

The Parks and Recreation Department operates four recreation/community centers located throughout the city, all of which are available for rent. A variety of programs for youth, adults and seniors are offered at the centers, which include a before and after school program, athletic leagues, card playing, bingo and line dancing just to name a few. Recreational Activities

The City of Ocoee Park & Recreation Department offers a variety of recreational activities and programs for youth, adults and seniors. For more information, please contact the Parks and Recreation Administrative office at 407-877-5803.

Pool

The Ocoee Family Aquatic Center located at 1820 A.D. Mims Rd, next to the Jim Beech Recreation Center. The Aquatic Center provides a safe and enjoyable setting for families to enjoy their day. Special features include a zero depth entry for easy access and spray for the kids to splash the day away. Advisory Board

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meets on the third Monday, every other month at 6:00 PM with nine members serving two-year terms (Ocoee city residents only). It is made to advise the City Commission, City Manager, and Recreation Director on the operations of the City's parks, recreational facilities, and programs. Founder's Day

Founder's Day is a festival celebrated annually in November drawing more than 20,000 people each year. The festival includes both local and national entertainment and one of the best fireworks displays in Central Florida. There are arts & crafts, other merchant vendors, great food, games and rides, historical exhibits, and more. It is non-stop fun!
