The Building Division is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the various local building codes, ordinances, and state and federal laws and rules associated with construction. Additionally, the division has the responsibility for the collection of local business taxes.
In the Finance Department we handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, cash receipts, customer service, financing projects, financial reporting, investments, payroll, purchasing, and utility billing.
The Planning Division is responsible for coordinating growth management. The staff regularly deals with developers and the general public to review growth-related issues affecting the future urban pattern of the community.
The Department of Public Works provides essential infrastructure maintenance services for the maximum safety, health, and welfare of the citizens of Ocoee and visitors; and to enhance the quality of life in the community.
